Paladin has basically three break levels: 2, 6 & 11. Level 2: Paladin 1/Bard 1. Paladin 2/Lore Bard X, Swashbuckler 10/Swords Bard 10, Lore bard 6/Sorcerer X. How does it work with a bard? A bard with 3 chord courage buff is the wet dream of all burst classes to have, as their numbers get nearly doubled during it. My original idea was looking something like this: Starting as 2 Paladin for the usual Paladin start-up powers - Lay-on-hands, Divine sense, Smite, Heavy armor prof & Fighting Style Defense Paladin 2 -> Swords/Valor Bard X. Especially since bards are 2/3 casters so their spell progression is slower than full casters. Nah, like I said it is a really popular build to just do the first 5-6 Paladin and then full caster the rest of the way.
